LEVEL, the long-haul airline based in Barcelona, announces the launch of a new direct route between Barcelona and Lima (Peru)*, which will begin operating on June 3, 2026. With this launch, LEVEL will become the only airline offering direct, non-stop flights between the two cities, strengthening its position as the leading long-haul airline at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport.

With this addition, the company reinforces its strong commitment to the development of Barcelona’s intercontinental connectivity and responds to the growing demand for flights between both countries, whether for tourism, business travel, or for those visiting family and friends on both sides of the Atlantic.

The new Barcelona–Lima route will initially operate with three weekly frequencies – Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday – with schedules specially designed to facilitate connections with other flights in Europe and the Americas. In this way, LEVEL offers a comfortable and efficient travel experience tailored to passengers coming from different points across both continents.

“For LEVEL, the new route between Barcelona and Lima represents another step toward our goal of consolidating ourselves as Barcelona’s benchmark long-haul airline, continuing to contribute to the development of the city’s intercontinental connectivity while always offering an efficient, innovative, and customer-oriented service,” stated Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial & Network Officer at LEVEL. “Today we celebrate this new connection between Barcelona and Lima, which is much more than an air route: it is a bridge that opens opportunities for economic and tourism growth. We are convinced that this new connectivity will drive mutual growth: Barcelona, with its innovative Mediterranean spirit, and Lima, with its cultural, historical, and culinary richness.”

Flights between Barcelona and Lima can now be purchased through the LEVEL website or via Travel Agencies with a special launch fare starting at €319 each way.

Boosting the route thanks to our partners

The new route will be strengthened by LEVEL’s partnership network, which will allow the airline to offer passengers a more complete and attractive travel proposal. Thanks to this connectivity, LEVEL customers will be able to access 17 additional destinations within Peru in connection with Lima through Iberia’s channels. For passengers traveling from Peru, LEVEL flights will connect with Vueling services in Barcelona, offering more than 75 destinations in Spain, Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Lima: history, culture, and world‑class gastronomy

Lima, the capital of Peru, is a vibrant coastal city that blends history, culture, and modernity. It offers a rich tourism experience with its colonial historic center, modern districts such as Miraflores and Barranco, museums, beaches, and an active nightlife.

One of its greatest attractions is its gastronomy, recognized worldwide. In Lima, visitors can enjoy everything from traditional dishes such as ceviche to signature cuisine in internationally renowned restaurants.

Additionally, Lima is a starting point for exploring other destinations in Peru, offering a unique blend of cultural heritage, urban landscapes, and cuisine that delights every palate.

Lima joins LEVEL’s current network of destinations with direct, non-stop flights from Barcelona to Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Santiago de Chile (Chile) in South America, and to Boston, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in the United States of America. With this new route, LEVEL strengthens its commitment to a strategic market in Latin America that currently has no direct connection from Barcelona, contributing to the economic and tourism growth of the city and its surrounding area. In this way, LEVEL will continue expanding its network and bringing continents closer together, connecting people, cultures, and opportunities.

LEVEL and its Fly your way value proposition

This new route will be operated with LEVEL’s usual fleet, the Airbus A330-200, with capacity for 311 passengers. LEVEL’s aircraft feature a two‑cabin configuration: Premium Economy and Economy. The Premium Economy cabin offers an independent space with enhanced comfort elements such as more legroom, footrests, and a greater seat recline angle, among other benefits. For all passengers on board, entertainment is also available through individual screens with more than 400 different options (movies, series, podcasts, documentaries, children’s programs, mindfulness…) and free Wi‑Fi throughout the flight for messaging services.

LEVEL’s value proposition, Fly your Way, is based on a fully personalized onboard experience, with elements such as a pre‑order platform through which each traveler can customize their trip in advance by choosing from the different gastronomic proposals on the menu or adding comfort items.
